Thank you to all the incredible PUSD students and staff who joined us for the 2025 Pomona Optimist Club’s Tea for the Soul Scholarship Luncheon on April 10, 2025. It was an absolute honor to host such a bright and inspiring group of young women.
Tea for the Soul is dedicated to uplifting and supporting young women who aspire to attend college after high school. Through this special event, the Pomona Optimist Club aims to help prepare them for the real-world challenges they may face—whether it's navigating college life, living away from home for the first time, or simply stepping confidently into adulthood.
We recognize that every journey is unique. Whether our students choose to pursue a college degree or follow a career path in the trades, we are proud of them and excited for what lies ahead. Our hope is that they face the future with strength, independence, and a sense of purpose.
As a meaningful keepsake, we are continuing our tradition of collecting unique vintage teacups—one for each young woman to take home as a symbol of her individuality, resilience, and the community that believes in her.
